First Christmas

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all! We all survived the Great Blizzard! Not really a big deal honestly, fair weather front rangers. Had fun shoveling out, I love snow shoveling! Almost went door to door for added pleasure and pocket money, the neighborhood kids were not out earning. The Ram had fun ripping around the hood "plowing" the streets and getting the sweet windshield shots.

PS Not responsible enough to get the cards out in a timely manner but two of the finalists are above for your viewing pleasure.

First he was an angel!

First he was an angel! Then he was the devil! But not really a devil, an innocent? He can't even reach the top of his head to feel the horns sprouting (the image doesn't really show the horns but trust me they're there). The toughest 16 pounds I ever lifted, for as much he lifted us up he can crush. Love him no matter, forever!

More Respekt to my better half and all the others out there, the glue that holds it all together. Pulling down the cheddar to make it all possible and still take full advantage of the path to a man's (this man's) heart through his stomach. Onions and garlic in a skillet and glass of red in hand, simple and amazing, simply amazing kitchen time. In honor of Red, a new segment of recommended recipes and references.

Shrimp Pernod with the Spinach Cakes. Two thumbs way up. Louisiana Real & Rustic Emeril Lagasse.
